Eric Ginther – Vice President, Manager
Eric joined SWS in July of 2014 as a Senior Wholesale Broker and took over responsibility for SWS in February 2019. Prior to joining 2014 Eric spent 7 years at a large insurance brokerage working as a Broker on a variety of business sectors, including Sport, Ski Hills, Programs/MGA business and Oil & Gas. Before becoming a broker Eric spent several years in an Underwriting role at a large Canadian Insurer. Eric has experience with setting up programs in Lloyds and is currently a Lloyds Coverholder.
Shane Mackay – Senior Wholesale Broker
Shane joined SWS in April of 2019. Shane brings over 30 years of sales and management experience in leading and growing sales organizations in Canada. Shane has experience as a Production Underwriter in the Exploration and Production Oil and Gas space in Canada as a Lloyd`s Coverholder. Prior to underwriting Shane spent many years with a large international insurance brokerage where he oversaw the sales process and customer management system. Shane holds his professional designation of Canadian Risk Management (CRM) as well as a Level 3 Insurance license in Alberta. Shane is a graduate of Red River College.
Gina Stokes – Broker
Gina has over 35 years’ experience in the insurance broking industry, assisting in servicing and administering client accounts of all sizes, from small commercial to multi-million dollar, in many industries including industrial, utilities and energy. Gina has been working with SWS since 2010.
Renee Theobald – Account Support/Broker
Renee started her insurance career with a national insurance broker in March 2006, and was a technical assistant with the Oil and Gas Insurance Programs Unit until March 2014 when she joined the Specialty Wholesale team. Renee started out taking on an administrative role for the Specialty Wholesale Services accounts and now works as a wholesale broker.
Dale DeVouge – Account Service Coordinator
Dale just began with SWS in the beginning of this year, but has over 10 years’ experience in Commercial Lines dealing with international clients. Dale has a strong back ground in Claims, Account Support and Client Services
